Job Title: Butcher
Location: Scarborough, ON
Major Intersection: Brimley Road and Skagway Avenue
Shifts: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $15-17 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Cutting, grinding and preparing meat according to the expectations of the customers
- Regular inspections to ensure the quality of the meat is up to the mark
- Proper cleaning and storage of the utensils
- Maintaining an attractive shelf display
- Performing other tasks related to the position
Job Requirements:
- Past experience as a butcher is required
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Candidate must have warm clothing (jackets, gloves, socks)
- Comfortable weight up to 30 to 40 pounds
- General understanding of the food safety and sanitation controls
- Strong communication, task management, and customer service skills
